Prescot Cables 0 Colwyn Bay 1 Friday 2 April 2010 The blustery winds overhead and conditions underfoot produced an attritional Unibond Division One North Good Friday encounter. The home side, in particular, was struggling to find cohesion and did not exploit the wide areas where Cables had an advantage in speed. The only goal came in the 24th minute when Paul Lundon was caught in possession. Sheehan took the ball forward for Bay. His pin-point cross was met by Sheridan who produced a brilliant finish. The visitors looked the team more likely to score in the second period. They had goal disallowed for offside and then Sheridan surprisingly missing the target with a strike. He also hit the bar with a cross that looped in the breeze. Slack Prescot defending allowed a short corner that substitute Davey connected with. His header went straight into Paxton's arms.
