A busy and determined looking Worksop Town side plunged Cables further into the relegation mire on a desperately disappointing afternoon at Hope Street. Worksop gave an early indication of their intentions with just 70 seconds on the clock as visiting midfielder Ben Tomlinson lifted the ball over Cables a defender before sliding a low drive off the inside of a post. Fortunately for the home side the ball bounced along the goal line before Cables' Karl Bell hacked the ball clear. |
