CABLES LOSES A
GOOD FRIEND
It is with deep regret that we must inform everyone
of the sad news that Colin Taylor, Cables fan and
recently appointed Director has passed away
today.
Colin has been ill for some time but despite that was always willing to lend a hand, muck in, or offer wise words of advice.
He was an ex-Police Officer who loved football, being a Season Ticket holder at Tranmere for many years but still finding time to support and help his local team Prescot Cables. He could always be seen Stewarding for Cables and generally took up position at the Changing Room making sure that the teams and officials were okay.
Colin lived locally in Whiston.
He will be really missed by everyone at Cables not just for his efforts but mainly because he was a truly thorough gent.Our thoughts go out to his family at this very difficult time.
Funeral - Thurs 27th at 11:30am at St Nicholas Church Whiston and then St Helens Crematorium.
