An absolutley stellar performance by
The Cables team marked the real
start of the season.
Liam Pearson looked sharp and fleet of foot to bag 2 goals. Steven Tames took his opportunity well.
Dave Ridler stated that "with a show like that we can now move forward and look to future games without dwelling on previous performances".
A penalty awarded to Laird on the 90th minute deprived Cables of a clean sheet when it was cleanly struck home by Aaron Bowen.
