Despite a creditable first half performance Cables lost control of the game in the second period and were ultimately beaten again. Forever optimistic the Hope Street fans wondered if a Saturday win might just be possible as the teams seemed evenly matched for long periods. However, Frickley took control of the game in the second half and deserved the win. |
