When talking to Joe about what he does outside of football he states that he likes to watch horse racing and is keen
on both darts, boxing and most sports. I asked him what was the most memorable sporting event that he recalls.
Whilst my mind turns to Daley Thompsons gold medal in the LA Olympics or the Taylor - Davis snooker final, in
true Evertonian fashion, the Cables Manager cites Liverpool's European Cup win against AC Milan. But he's not
bitter!
Most of Joes life has revolved around football or playing football and I wondered what he considered to be his best sporting achievement and whilst he made mention of his selection for England School Boys he was looking to the future. He sincerely hoped that his most memorable sporting achievements were yet to come with Prescot Cables in some form or another.
