With a one nil win at Hope Street against Mossley Hill Athletic Reserves,
Cables Reserve Team earned a well deserved promotion to Division Two of
the West Cheshire League. The game was a replay of an earlier fixture
after a ruling by the FA that due to a rule infringement by Mossley the
game should be replayed as oppossed to Prescot being awarded pooints.

Cables had to win to secure promotion and they didnt disappoint. Fans
who took advantage of free entry saw a hard fought battle and a winning
goal by Cables player Paul Cliff that saw the team finish second in the
League to Hale. Fantastic Result - bring on Division 2.
