Prescot Cables Youth Team have won silverware when
they lifted the Liverpool County Youth Cup with a
fantastic 3 - 1 win over the Anfield based Millenium F.C.
Team. After losing the initiative by going behind to
Millenium by a goal early in the first half, Prescot kept
playing their two touch football which gradually
increased the pressure upon their opponents.

The game intensified in the second half with Prescot
playing some great football and creating chances as a
consequence. With 15 minutes still to play Prescot
changed the game when they were awarded a free kick
15 yards into the Millenium half. Prescot converted the
kick and scored an equaliser. Under pressure,
mistakes starting creeping into Milleniums game and
they had a player sent off. Prescot seized the day and
scored two goals in quick succession, winning by 3
goals to 1. Well Done!
