BERT TAYLOR TROPHY
Richard Harnetty finally received his engraved
trophy in recognition for his devotion to Prescot
Cables. Richard was awarded the cup for being
Cables Supporter of the Year 2009-2010.
Richard attends all matches - home and away and is always willing to help at Cables. He acts as Steward and can be called upon to assist whenever help is needed.
During the harsh weather Richard responded to a call to help clear snow and ice from the Hope Street ground. With the likes of Richard always willing to help out when required - Cables will be okay.

Bert Taylor was a stalwart of Prescot Cables and a long time supporter and follower of Non-League Football. He was well respected within the sport as a Supporter, helper at Cables and Match Reporter. Many of the articles written by Bert were donated by his estate to the Prescot Museum. Through the Trophy and tales of Bert relayed by others - the memory of Bert Taylor lives on in Prescot Cables.
