Charity Football Match raises £2935 for Willowbrook Hospice |

On Sunday 9th August 2009 a Charity Football match was held at Prescot Cables between the Stars of Hollyoaks TV Programme and the Cables Reserve Team. Whilst the score doesnt really matter, ultimately the winners were the Community of Prescot and Knowsley who witnessed a great game of football and helped raise money for a very worthwhile cause. The Actors were great, spending ages afterwards signing autographs. The Reserve Team put on a good show against a surprisingly competitive Hollyoaks. A big thank you to all the volunteers on the day who worked hard to make the event a success and a special thanks to all those who attended and put their hands in their pockets and purses to help raise the money. |
